Every morning the signal towards North Hampton/Diamond Spring stays on for very short duration. I notice this causes people to race the light by loading up the third lane that merges into two. My concern is that children are usually waiting for school in the morning at the apartment by this intersection and it's only a matter of time before someone lose control and a serious accident happens. Also a school bus stops at this location and again with the short light duration everyone is just cramming to burn rubber and beat the light. I understand there is a Red Light camera at this location and the city is looking to make some money but I think you can increase the cycle time just a little more to satisfy the people and at the same time gain revenue with the red light camera.
